Our In-Store Merchant App sends instant alerts that appear on your device screen with a ringing sound.
If you do not see or hear these alerts when new orders arrive, a device setting is likely blocking them. Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
How to Enable Notifications in the In-Store Merchant App
- Open the EStore Merchant App.
- Tap the menu icon (upper left).
- Go to Settings.
- Turn on Notifications for full-page alerts.

Adjust Device Settings Based on Your Android Version
Check your Huawei EMUI version (or Android version) below and follow the specific instructions.

Huawei EMUI 4.1.1 (Android 6)
- Enable Notifications:
- Settings > Apps > EStore Merchant App > Notifications
- Enable Allow Notifications and Priority Display.

- Protect App from Idle Shutdown:
- Settings > Advanced Settings > Battery Manager > Protected Apps
- Enable the EStore Merchant App.

Huawei EMUI 5.0.4 (Android 7)
- Enable Notifications:
- Settings > Apps > EStore Merchant App > Notifications
- Enable Allow Notifications, Lock Screen Display, Priority Display, Ringtone, and Vibrate.


- Disable Power Saving Mode:
- Settings > Battery
- Turn off Power Saving Mode.

- Ignore Battery Optimizations:
- Settings > Apps > Settings (gear icon) > Special Access > Ignore Optimizations
- Select EStore Merchant App > Allow.

- Enable Notifications:
- Settings > Apps & Notifications > Notifications Management
- Select EStore Merchant App and enable the Allow Notifications, Display on the Lock Screen, Priority Display, Ringtone, and Vibrate options.

- Disable Power Saving Mode:
- Settings > Battery
- Turn off Power Saving Mode.

- Allow App to Run in Background:
- Settings > Battery > Launch
- Select In-Store Merchant App and set to Manage Manually.
- Enable Auto-launch, Secondary Launch, and Run in Background.

- Enable Notifications:
- Settings > Apps > In-Store Merchant App > Notifications
- Enable Allow Notifications, Banners, Lock Screen Notifications, Allow Interruptions, Sound, and Vibration.

- Settings > Apps > Menu (upper right) > Special Access > Battery Optimization
- Select All Apps, choose In-Store Merchant App, and select Don’t Allow.


- Disable Power Saving Mode:
- Settings > Battery
- Turn off Power Saving Mode.

- Allow App to Run in Background:
- Settings > Battery > Launch
- Set In-Store Merchant App to Manage Manually.
