Our In-Store Merchant App sends instant alerts with sound and on-screen notifications. If you don’t receive alerts for new orders (link accepting orders), certain device settings may be blocking them.
Initial Setup: Enable In-Store Merchant App Notifications
- Open the In-Store Merchant App.
- Tap the menu icon (top left).
- Go to Settings.
- Turn on the Notification setting to receive full-page alerts.

Detailed Troubleshooting by Android Version
Android Version 5
- Enable notifications in Settings > Application Manager > EStore Merchant App.
- Ensure required permissions are allowed:
- take pictures and videos
- full network access for Wi-Fi connection
- draw over other apps
- prevent phone from sleeping
- Disable Power Saving in Settings > General > Power Saving.
Android Version 6
- Enable notifications in Settings > Applications > Application Manager > EStore Merchant App > Notifications.
- Enable the following:
- Allow notifications
- Set as priority
- Previews in pop-ups
- Disable power saving for the app in Settings > Battery > App Power Saving > Details.
- Selected Disabled.
- Enable Always On Display to keep the app active.
Android Version 7
- Enable notifications in Settings > Apps > Application Manager > EStore Merchant App > Notifications.
- Disable Block All and Hide Sensitive Content.
- Enable Treat as Priority and Allow Peeking.
- Turn off Power Saving Mode in Settings > Battery.
- Add the EStore Merchant App to Unmonitored Apps in Settings > Battery > Unmonitored Apps.
Android Version 8
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notifications bar.
- Enable notifications via the notification bar or Settings > Notification Settings > See All > EStore Merchant App.
- Disable Power Saving Mode in Settings > Device Maintenance > Battery.
- From the Battery page, go to Unmonitored Apps and select the EStore Merchant App. Click Done.
- Enable Always On Display in Settings > Lock Screen.
Android Version 9
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notifications bar.
- Enable notifications via the notification bar or Settings > Notification Settings > See All > EStore Merchant App.
- Disable Optimize Battery Usage for the app in Settings > Apps > Menu > Special Access > Optimize Battery Usage.
- Use the search bar to find the EStore Merchant App. Toggle it off.
- Disable adaptive battery and unused app sleep features in Settings > Device Care > Battery > Menu > Settings.
- Enable notifications. Tap the toggle for the Adaptive Battery, Put Unused Apps to Sleep, and Auto-disable Unused Apps functions to disable them.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notifications Center. Find and enable the Always On Display option.
Android Versions 10 & 11
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notifications bar.
- Enable notifications via the notification bar or Settings > Notification Settings > See All > EStore Merchant App.
- Disable Adaptive Battery and Put Unused Apps to Sleep in Settings > Device Care > Battery > App Power Management.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notifications Center. Find and enable the Always On Display option.
