Instant Alert Troubleshooting: Xiaomi Devices – ZAP

Detailed troubleshooting instructions for various MIUI/Android Versions of Samsung devices.

Our In-Store Merchant App sends instant alerts that should appear on your screen with a ringing sound. If you don’t see these alerts when new orders arrive, it’s usually because of certain device settings blocking them. Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Enable Notifications in the App

Open the EStore Merchant App on your device.
Tap the menu icon (upper-left corner).
Go to Settings.
Turn on Notifications to receive full-page alerts.

Check your MIUI version

Succeeding steps depend on your Xiaomi device's OS version.

Instructions for MIUI Global 10.3 (Android 8.0.0)

1. Enable Notifications in Device Settings

Go to Settings > Manage Apps.
Select EStore Merchant App.

Scroll down and tap Notifications.
Enable notifications by toggling it ON.

2. Allow Autostart

Go to Settings > Manage Apps.
Select EStore Merchant App.
Enable Autostart.

3. Grant Other Permissions

In Settings > Manage Apps, select EStore Merchant App.

Scroll down and tap Other Permissions.
Enable:
- Show on Lock Screen
- Start in Background
- Display Pop-Up Window

4. Disable Battery Saver for the App

Go to Settings > Manage Apps > EStore Merchant App.

Tap Battery Saver.
Select No Restrictions.

5. Turn Off Battery Saver System-Wide

Go to Settings > Battery & Performance > Battery Optimization.
Disable Battery Saver.

Instructions for MIUI Global 11.0.5 (Android 9)

1. Enable Notifications in Device Settings

Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps.
Select EStore Merchant App.

Scroll to Notifications.
Toggle Show Notifications ON.
Enable:
- Floating Notifications
- Lock Screen Notifications
- Allow Sound
- Allow Vibration
