Cancelling a booking of a rider from GrabExpress or Lalamove with the In-Store Merchant App
⚠️ Before booking any rider, make sure your Delivery Integration is properly set up via the Restaurant Alert + Deliver app on your Shopify Store.
❓ FAQ: What if the Rider Cancels?
If a rider cancels the booking, the system will automatically try to rebook up to:
- 3 attempts
- Or for 10 minutes, whichever comes first
✅ We recommend checking the rider status every 5–10 minutes, or rebooking manually if needed.
🔄 How to Cancel a Booked Rider
Sometimes you may need to cancel a rider who’s already been assigned. Here’s how:
Step 1
Tap View Rider Booking Details to open the rider info and options.
Step 2
Tap Cancel Rider.
Step 3
Tap OK on the confirmation prompt to proceed.
