You can call a rider from GrabExpress or Lalamove straight from the In-Store Merchant App
To book a rider within the In-Store Merchant App, make sure Delivery Integration is already set up in the Restaurant Alert + Deliver app on your Shopify store.
Once a rider has been booked, you can view their details, call them, or track their location.
🚀 How to View, Call, and Track Your Rider
Step 1 – View Rider Booking Details
After booking a rider, tap View Rider Booking Details to see:
- Rider Name
- Delivery Cost
- Time of Booking
- Vehicle Type & License Plate
- Mobile Number (with phone icon)
- Additional Services
- Cancel Rider option
💡 Pro Tip: Book riders 15–20 minutes before dispatch to give them time to arrive.
Step 2 – Call the Rider
Tap the Phone Icon next to the rider’s mobile number.
This opens your phone’s dialer app with the number pre-filled.
⚠️ Your Android device must have a working local SIM with load to make calls from the app.
If not, dial the number using another device.
Step 3 – Track the Rider
A tracking link is provided on the same screen.
Tap the link to open the rider's location in your browser.

❓ FAQ: What if the Rider Cancels?
If a rider cancels, the In-Store Merchant App will attempt to auto-book another rider up to 3 times or for up to 10 minutes.
✅ Check the booking status every 5–10 minutes
