Why is my on-demand courier taking so long?
Sometimes, it may take a few minutes to successfully book a rider. Here are the most common reasons:
1. Peak hours
During busy times like lunch and dinner hours, rider demand is high. Many nearby merchants are also placing bookings, which can slow things down.
✅ Tip: Try to book a rider earlier than usual during rush hours.
2. Fewer riders available
There may be fewer active riders due to:
- Bad weather
- Very early or late hours
- Holidays or special events
3. No riders nearby
At times, there may not be any riders near your location.
✅ Tip: Try rebooking after a few minutes in case a rider becomes available.
What you can do
If a rider hasn’t been booked yet, you can try rebooking:
- Tap View Rider Booking Details
- Tap Cancel Search
- Return to the order details
- Tap Book a Rider again
This usually works within a few minutes.
