Personalize your customer’s experience!
Restaurant Alert + Deliver supports three ways of sending order updates to customers:
- SMS
- Facebook Chat
You can edit these messages to give your customers a more personalized experience.

🔧 How to Edit SMS Notifications
- Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Notifications.
- Click on the notification template you want to edit (e.g., Order Confirmation, Shipping Update).
- Click the SMS tab to open the message.
- Customize the text, then click Save.

🔧 How to Edit Email Notifications
- Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Notifications.
- Click on the notification template you want to edit.
- Click the Email tab to view the email content.
- Customize the message, then click Save.

🔧 How to Edit Facebook Chat Notifications
- Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Messenger.
- ⚠️ Make sure your Facebook Chatbot is enabled. Learn how to set it up here.
- Under Customer Order Updates, click Enable (if not yet enabled).
- Scroll to Auto Message Templates, then click the Order Update template you want to edit.
- Customize the message, then click Save.
