How to create discounts and promos for your customers
Can We Set Up Discount Codes?
Yes! You can create and manage discount codes through the Discounts tab on the left-hand side of your Shopify Admin.

Can We Offer Automatic Free Shipping?
No. Shopify currently allows free shipping only through manual discount codes. The customer must enter the code during checkout.
Can Customers Use Multiple Discount Codes in One Order?
No. Shopify supports only one discount code per order at this time.
Can We Do 50% Off for a Specific Category With Original and Discounted Price Displayed?
Yes, but the discounted price must be entered manually per product in your Shopify Admin.
The product page will then show both the original and sale price.
Can We Sell or Give Gift Certificates?
Yes. You can create digital gift cards to sell or give to your customers.
To create one:
- Go to Products > Gift Cards in your Shopify Admin
- Choose the appropriate setup option

How Are Senior Citizen Discounts Handled?
Currently, there is no way to verify senior citizen eligibility online through Shopify. This discount is not supported automatically.
