How Does the Loyalty Feature Work?
When a customer checks out, they enter their mobile number. After the purchase, they receive a branded SMS or email confirming the points they've earned.
How Can Customers Check or Redeem Their Points?
Customers can view and redeem their points by:
- Clicking the logo or loyalty widget on your homepage
- Entering their mobile number to access their points
Can Customers Use Points Together With a Discount Code?
No. Loyalty points are treated as a discount code, and Shopify only allows one discount code per order.
What Is the One-Time PIN (OTP)?
The OTP is a 4-digit code sent via SMS or phone call. It serves as a security measure to validate members when they access or redeem points.
Can Customers Share Their Mobile Number?
No. Each customer must use their own valid and personal mobile number.
What If the Customer Changes Their Mobile Number?
The customer should email info@zap.com.ph and include both their old and new numbers in the message for their account to be updated.
Can Customers Use a Foreign Mobile Number?
Not at this time. Customers must use a Philippine-based mobile number to earn and redeem points.
